are his teeth rotting?

My 10.5 month old DS has 8 teeth. The ones on the top - mostly the 2 on the left - seem to be a bit rotten.

I BF and he tends to feed a lot at night. We try to brush his teeth but he clamps his mouth shut and it's a battle.

Has anyone been through this? Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions?

I know i should take him to the dentist but my dentist is crap and i haven't found a new one yet.

could it be 'bruising' i.e. he fell over and knocked his teeth. rotting teeth in 8mo needs to be checked i tihnk. maybe try dr or hv?...
