Will there be a permanent scar?

Dd2 walked into a bush while out on a walk two weeks ago and scratched her face. It was quite a long scratch, not particularly deep, there was blood but stopped bleeding within minutes. It's healed up, but you can still see a fine red line across her cheek. I'm worried that this will stay - can anyone reassure me?

emkana, I am not a medical person but I would think that if it wasn't deep and didn't need stitches it should fade completely.

vitamin E oil works wonders for scars, You can buy a bottle of the pure stuff from Boots for about £8 and dab it on every evening, it really does work
