I have always had very bad periods and am currently under the gynae consultant for it, but i started this period 9 days early.

I haven't had a flow as such, more a kind of thick dribble, but can't not wear a towel.

The problem is the pain - it actually felt like contractions this morning! It came on very suddenly (even tho i started on Sunday) and got worse and worse. I had diaohhria (sp?) and sickness and the pain was so intense, i couldn't talk and could barely walk.

What's going on? Has anyone else had periods like this? I can't take this anymore, i would have liked another child but am getting on, but just feel like telling them to remove everything and have done with it!

No advice I am afraid but if you are not already doing so I would keep a detailed diary to show the consultant.

Thanks that's a good idea Budababe.

Was up again at 4.15am for a couple of hours with the pain.
