Lump on boob, not breast cancer what is it?

I have just been to the doctor because after two weeks of having a slightly sore boob, yesterday I noticed a hard lump just below my nipple.

I went to the doctor. She had trouble finding it but did eventually. Doctor said it was not likely cancer (no family history and because it came up all of a sudden). I breastfed both my children but stopped two years ago. She has referred me for a routine scan and asked to see me next week.

Has anyone else had this and if so what was it?

I had a pea sized growth between boob and under arm. We lost a close family member to breast cancer so the GP sent me to the breast specialist to get checked out. By the time I got seen (about 10 days later) the growth had disappeared thankfully! Doctor thought it may have been hormonal. But always best to get checked. Good luck!

I had a lump just where the aereola begIns. I was breast feeding at time and my gp thought blocked duct. She referred me for consultant app and ultrasound. At the ultrasound it just showed normal ducts and the lump just showed up normal.

It's finally went away about 2 months later, I've still no idea what it was right enough.
