A Day Called Hope by Gareth O'Callaghan. A friend recommended this one to me and I read it in a day. I have "suffered" from depression for over 2 years now and have never read anything so helpful or optimistic. There is a particularly interesting chapter on depression and alcohol.
Since reading it I am a changed person and feel that I am now recovering, rather than suffering from, depression DH, who has been through a really crappy time with me is now reading it and wishes he had heard about it years ago. HTH

Thanx ghengis, I'll look for this, as I am suffering a bad relaspe with PND at the minute.

It is written by a Man who is recovering from depression, so obviously not from a PND point of view, but there may be an overlap in the symptoms, how to deal with them, what works and what just makes things worse. Beautifully written.
