Might have blocked tubes?

sorry in advance for the long reading!

As I said early I had been doctors, The doctor was saying today that, because we already have children, TTC at the right time of the month and lots of BDing, been useing ov-test, both only 25yrs, we don't drink, don't smoke, at the right weight and so and so on, we shouldn't have a problem TTC (for the lasts 13months) but we do.

I told her about some bad back and tummy pains that I've been getting lasting about 4-5days each month and the odd day here and there, that stated back in April, I put it down to a condition that I have called "chronic Pyelonephritis" (kidney recurring infections which has caused scarring and permanent damage to my kidneys) I went to the hospital back in April with really bad pain (to the point of passing out in my kitchen) they touched and passed down on my tummy where one lot of the pains was coming from and it didn't hurt, but when they put one hand on my tummy than taped his hand with his other hand, it hurt, which according to the doctor at the time indicated a pelvic thing or pelvic infection but went home didn't think any more of it till today, and the fact I look back and think well all that pain I've been having isn't down to my kidneys after all (as I have medication to deal with it at home when I feel I might have an infection)

What she said at first is I could have a blockage in my tubes than I told her what hospital said in April and the pains since, she said then that she thinks it's more likely I have a blockage, so now I'm being sent for blood tests.

How can my doctor say that i might have blocked tubes, when i haven't even had tests yet, or is that the only thing it can be? please i need advice with this one!

hopefully i will get to know why i haven't had any luck TTC!

I had a problem called salpingitis which is an inflammation of the fallopian tubes and causes the symptons you are getting. When I tried to get pregnant I had problems and they did a laporoscopy where they look at your anatomy and they managed to clear mine with dye.

Your doctors is suggesting blocked tubes as a possibility because fallopian tube defects are often associated with kidney problems. I also have chronic pyelonephritis (or "had" as the infections have cleared up, all the damage was done in childhood) and had to have a hysterosalpingogram to test my tubes were clear as standard due to my history of kidney problems. Chronic pyelonephritis often originates with a congential malformation (can be very minor) or the kidneys or ureters and they are so close to the fallopian tubes that I think the malformation often shows there too.

They were clear so it wasn't a problem for me. And I'm not a doctor and therefore no expect. But worth checking out - often blocked tubes can be cleared.
