breast problem - again!! Advice please

Hi. I went to breast referral appt a month ago as I was sufferning pain in my left breast. They told me to take anti-inflammitory tablets and see how it goes.

Anyway, the pain is still there, but now I have found a small lump above my breast - more in the region of where my bra strap sits. Lymph node area I think.

What should I do? Should I go back to docs and get reffered again, or should I wait a bit longer, and see if it improves?

All lumps.............back to the GP. That way if (and I say if) there is a problem it's dealt with sooner rather than later.

Hi adozenroses, i agree with MG, def back to GP. I'm sure it's nothing but better to be safe than sorry Also think you should go back anyway about your pain, a month is along time esp if anti inflammatory tabs haven't worked.
I had a lump removed from my arm pit about 10yrs ago that turned out just to be a fatty cyst and that was quite tender esp when period was due. Make the appt monday, good luck!
