Pain after having coil fitted

I had a Mirena coil fitted yesterday. Am experiencing some cramping, light bleeding and bloatedness.
Is this normal? has anyone else experienced this?

Why do I always feel crappy at the weekend when the doctors' surgery is closed???!

Yes LL this is exactly how I felt when I got mine a few months ago.
I felt pretty yuck for about a week, still had periods for a few months ( light but lasted days on end)and am fine now

I had this too, had mine fitted a couple of weeks ago. I bled for 3 weeks and had the cramps/period pain for a week. All seems fine up to now though.
