Its to check the VAD is filling and emptying correctly. it works better with the lights off

we are fine, just trying to get everyone sorted out and comfortable. todayhas been busy.

with the fl;ash test you shine a light at the back of the vad and look for a 'flash'. its simple and easy to do.

also have to make sure he drinks enough to keep his flows up.
