its great having Peter back. but the kids have gone loopy, dd3 is extremely unsettled as i thought she would be, i have to go to a training session later today at the hospital, my back aches from carrying medical equipment about, and Peter is annoying me. He is so used to his routine, and i cant keep to it and tbhj i am not going to try.

And now the district nurse is appealing to the PCT today for a special chair for peter (recliner with left arm rest) so i have to pack up even more of personal life to make room for thhis extra equipmwnt.

It must be so hard adjusting back to life together for all of you in so many ways. There must be things that make it so worthwhile and things that drive you bloody mad. Post on here about the things that drive you bloody mad and take the time to savour the little things that make you all happy. I know my dad got so instituinalised whilst in hospital for 2 months so Peter must be finding it hard to adapt as well. good luck

Do you have chocolate and wine.. they sound very necessary..

Oh misdee, twas bound to be the most mega adjustment ever. You've gone from being (physically, at least) a lone parent, to a wife/carer etc - and with over-excited, yampy children to cope with too.

Give yourself time, babe - it will setlle down in a few weeks I'm sure.

(I wanted to post to you today anyway - I saw your motage for the 1st time yest. I have been so moved by your situ so many times, and by your dignity and courage. But yest I was moved by your beuatiful children - esp the pixie smile of your dd2!

just little things, and not his fault. like the fact her cant reach the drawers under the bed to get his socks, pants etc, so as well as getting the kids clothing ready i am having to get his. he cant reach the glasses, so ihave moved half a dozen to a high shelf for him, the fact that there just isnt enough room in this stupid bungalow. i feeling incredably cramped and overwhealmed.
