Hand holding needed. DH is being tested for prostate cancer.

He has been ill since before Christmas. Ended up in hospital a week before Christmas day, because he was in so much pain. He was treated for an UTI but deep down we both new it was more.
He's had a testicular scan because they were swollen and other tests. He has been on antiB's since before Christmas, but water sample came back clear, even though DH isn't any better.
He has another scan booked for the middle of the month, to have a look at his prostate. He's also got to go for a flow test.
The hospital are being great but everything is taking so long.
Some days I really feel like giving up.
But DH and DC need me. We haven't really told anyone in RL because we have grow up DC has well as LO's. So it feels wrong to tell anyone before we tell DC, and we don't want to tell them till we know for sure.
I really feel like I have nobody to talk too :-(

FabU DH has had that many blood tests I've lost count. He is diabetic so the PSA test isn't reliable. Biopsies will be next if the next scan shows the prostate is enlarged.
DH has other symptoms, weight loss, difficulty passing water. We are hoping it will be something else but have been told he is now being tested for cancer.

If feels like everything is taking so long. Test appointments then waiting for results. If it is cancer we just want/need to know.

I am praying for u my dh has been diagnosed with prostate cancer it is very scary his pas was 8.5 then 7.5 so has to have surgery he wont talk to me and snaps a lot i have a daughter whos 15 its so hard.
