Bupa/Private room at NHS hospital- anyone know if spouse can stay in the room also?

FIL is being transferred from his local district hospital tonight to Bham Queen Elizabeth Neuro Dept (cerebral aneurism)- MIl is beside herself and desperate to know if she can stay with him?

Anyone know?

My partner stayed when I had a 6 hour gynae op,, some friends have been told no though, it depends how busy the ward is I think as spouses can put extra pressure on the nursing team but certainly ask x

You need to just ring the hospital. Google the name and ring
