PND and induction?

Did anyone else suffer PND and also had a drip induction? Just curious as I was on a drip for hours with DS1 and was loop the loop after his birth and then got PND.

Yes. I was induced and had the drip with DS1, and suffered PND. Natural birth with DS2, and no PND.
What makes you think there could be a link between the two juniper68?

I was the same with DS1. (drip, PND)
DS2, however, was an election c/section, but I still got PND (not until he was 7 months though).

it's just that I had it with DS1 and not with DS2. Also I just know my hormones were all over the place after the drip. Or maybe it was all the lack of sleep as DS1 rarely slept for months and cried a lot and I know this can affect hormones (which can trigger PND)

I had a drip with dd and was depressed after but never diagnosed with pnd. But it was very traumatic birth so dont know if it was the drip alone

2nd time no drip and was fine after
