My sonic toothbrush smells ! Does yours ?

Yuck subject - BUT - for the last few weeks I have noticing that the handle of my sonic toothbrush stinks - and the base it sits in to charge does too !

DH reckons it's bacterial - so I have washed it all with anti-bacterial soap - but it still honks ! I can hardly bear to use it ! BLEAGH !

Anyone else had this problem ? Is it time to buy a new one - it's only 2 yrs old I think !

My Braun one gets smelly every few weeks (took much longer than that when it was new) and I take it apart and wash it in hot water and soap! Its really disgusting, needs cleaning out with a cotton bud or something - then its ok again. I suppose its weeks of bacteria infested dribble getting in there

euwwwww - glad it's not just me then !

DH now tells me the smell is the battery corroding - so I have ordered a new one from ebay !
