I've been suffering with IBS (mainly diarrhea(sp?) winds and cramps) on and off for about 10 years and take anti-spasmodics (Spasmonal) for it. Its mainly stress realated, although certain foods and drinks can aggravate it. Lately its been worse, my Dr suggested peppermint oil, although he says thats mainly for bloating, and it made it worse. Does anyone use anything else that helps? I'll try almost anything!

I found that laying off wheat products was the best thing for me. I was eventually able to reintroduce them but whenever I feel my IBS starting to play up, I try to limit my wheat intake.
