Hiya...
Just read about someones root canal and remembered when I had mine I couldnt stop shaking... and I mean I really couldnt stop. I wasnt scared, but my whole body was completely shaking... my legs were shaking off the chair even . When I was giving birth aswell, It was horrible! I couldnt sign my name to anything and I couldnt control it at all. Anyone had this? Dentist gave me a non adrenalin aneasthetic (sp?) which helped, but Im scared of it happening again.

Isn't it shock? I had it when being repaired in theatre under spinal after DS1's birth.

The anaesthetist at my c/s said (in advance, so it didn't come as a surprise when it happened) it's a fairly common reaction to the anaesthetic. It was annoying but didn't worry me apart from that. Now the itching that I got as another fairly common reaction -- that I could really do without.

In your case do you think it was a reaction to the anaesthetic or to the whole procedure?

I had this post c section. It's the aneth.. however you spell it.
The itching was a killer though, I agree (hiya lemoniad)

I had it with an epidural. Really bad, involutary shaking which worried my poor, helpless dh terribly! But I was fine...

Do you know I had this really badly with both DS1 and DS1 c-secions. At the time just thought I was really really nervous and have always wondered why I was shaking so badly. It is good to know there was a reason after all.
