Leaked a few drops of milk but gave up breastfeeding 9 months ago

I just felt a drop or two of milk leak from one breast only.

I think this happened a few days ago as well but I ignored it, but this time there was definite dampness

It doesn't bother me if I still have some milk hanging around, I just worry something might be wrong with my breast as I also had some twinges/mild soreness from one area of it a few days ago. I am not pregnant, and am about to start my period. It may have happened after watching that giggling baby Cow & Gate follow on milk ad, I'm not sure.

Do I need to see the GP?

Yes good idea to go and see the GP. My friend had similar and it turned out she had mastitis.

Are you on any medication as it can be a side effect? I didn't breast feed but about a year later I had breast milk in one side & could feel a lump. I had a mammogram & ultrasound. I had an intraductal papilloma. I had surgery to remove it as the Dr said if left can turn cancerous. Best to get it checked out.
