Abcess in children

Hi
Just after some advice.
I took my DS 4 to the dentist 3 weeks ago. The Dentist said he has a broken back tooth (no more lollipops from party bags). He said that as it one of the last baby teeth to fall out it would be too long to wait and soon he would have to try to fill it/build it up.
Anyway 4 days later DS started screaming saying his teeth hurt and pointed to the broken one. I took him back to dentis who say he may have abcess (sp) and gave him antibiotics.
All was well until today. He now has been screaming (asleep now) saying teeth hurt again, but now he is pointing to back of other side of mouth instead.
Is it possible to get 2 abcesses so soon and on different sides of mouth or would it be something else?
Its not possible to get wisdom teeth yet?????
We have a check up appt on Monday anyway, just am a little worried and wanted some advice
Thanks

Sorry DS is feeling sore.

Hi.

He's fine again this morning. No pain.
Just worried about what it could be!

Hopefully it will not bother him again and the dentist can have a good look around on monday.
