Scan this afternoon

I posted a few weeks ago as i had blood tests and it showed a heightened level of CA125.

My sister had ovarian cancer this year and my GP wants me to be scanned to check it out.

The scan is this afternoon.

I am very nervous, i dont know if they will tell me today if they find anything or not so i will post later.

Good luck Jenk1 ..its very scary isnt it.My dads just found out hes got prostrate cancer,hes got an mri scan today to see how bad it is.We here are all keeping as positive as we can.
Will keep you in my thoughts and i hope all goes well for you [hugs]

hello well had an ultrasound and an internal scan using only what can be described as an attachment from a dyson hoover, yuck!!

My ovaries look fine and so does everything else so now i have to go and see my GP in a couple of weeks to see what the next step is.

Dont know of any other reason why my CA125 levels would be raised.
