My daughter was diagnosed with scarlet fever Friday, swan results back Monday which confirmed it.
Yesterday I woke up with a terrible sore throat so went to the doctor who took one look said no its just a sore throat and scarlet fever is unheard of in adults.
Off I went and the throat felt slightly better today sunlight just had a bath and have noticed 3 large red marks on my shoulder, all feel very dry to the touch although don't suffer with dry skin.
Nothing like how my daughters looked hers was a pink sunburn looking rash on her underneath and cheeks whereas these are definate patches.
Back to the doctor tomorrow?
