A question about the pill

Hi everyone. Dh and I have decided that the time is right to ttc number 2. I have been taking Microgynon since the birth of ds 19 months ago. What I want to know is do I need to wait to the end of a pack before I come off the pill or can you just stop taking it in the middle of a pack? I am pretty excited about the prospect of another lo and don't want to wast any time!!!!

I'm sure you can stop whenever you want - I don't know for sure but I'm always doing that with the pill when I don't get on with it!!

I stopped taking it mid way. The only problem might be working out your due date as your cycle might be a bit out.

I stopped on the 20th May and found out I was pg on 31st May
We planned another just surprised it was that quick! I had to wait til my 12w scan to work out an EDD though as had no clue. Go for it.

You can stop anytime you want but if you want ot be sure of due dates then use condoms until you have your first period.

(btw ignore anything your GP tells you about it taking a while for fertility to return - I'm another one who came off pill and got pregnant in 20 days!)
