Should I go to doctor now or ok to wait a bit? Weird period question with TMI

Hello

My period came more or less when expected last week - a bit early - but it was very light and quite, erm, crusty and brown to start with. It lasted a whole week but never really got going at all - just very light spots and pinkish stuff. Then there was some stuff which seemed to be ovulation (normal for me to ovulate very close to end of period) but that was blood-streaked too (sorry, TMI)

Usually I'm a floody-knickers type.

I did a pregnancy test while it was happening and then just now too because I was also feeling a bit tired, queasy and emotional. Both negative (hurray!).

Do I need to see the doctor now? Is it ok to wait and see what happens next month? Anyone got any knowledge about this?

I'm 37 so prepared to be told it's perimenopause Sad

I would see the GP and ask for a referral to a gynae; such changes should always be reported. I suggest seeing a gynae as well as such problems are often outside a GPs remit.

ok thanks I'll do that.
