Coil and biopsy done and realised there is a possibility I could be pregnant!

I'm wondering if anyone knows that if you are by chance pregnant and didn't know, does having a coil fitted and a biopsy done cause miscarriage?

I would not have a coil fitted if I thought I was pregnant - I think they work by preventing the embryo implanting in the womb - so yes it could cause a miscarriage. Have you do r this today?

Yes, this morning.. I looked at my table before to see when my next period would be and noticed the day my DH and I had sex was a day of fertile, so I am know in panic, and feeling a sense of sheer stupidity..

The coil can be used instead of a MAP to prevent implantation so yes, it could cause mc. Can you contact the clinic to discuss? When is your next period due?
