help! Could it be breast cancer?

I've got a 'tightening' underneath my collarbone but before my breast starts IYSWIM. I don't think I can feel any specific local lump but there's a slight swelling which feels uncomfortable. I haven't knocked it nor have I strained the muscle there from what i can remember. I'm worried it could be something serious. If I went to the GP, could I easily be referred for a mammogram? I'm 42

stop worrying - just get down there if you're worried.

If you have ANY concerns see your GP,if your GP refers you you should be seen in 2 weeks.
Look after yourself and get it checked out to put your mind at rest

Have you recently had an infection ? My doctor checked the area around my collarbone when i had some chest pain and said she was looking to see if a gland had come up?
I agree go to gp's to have it checked out but try not to worry.
