3 week old snotty baby!

help! 3 week old very very snotty and snuffley... not in huge distress but sounds very very uncomfortable... what can i do?

already propped up moses basket... dropped some karvol onto a hanky... anything else????

You can use saline nose drops, but only for a couple of days otherwise you make the problem worse. Keep a damp towel on the rad and a bowl of water near it to keep the air moist. If possible prop the crib/cot up at the top end with books under the feet.Are you breat feeding? If not Feed them moe up right if possible. Another one I did was to fill the bath with hot water and keep it running until you create a steam room atmostphere and feed in there. Worked wonders and helped clear my dd a little more. Its nasty isnt it , upsetting to see them suffer when so little. Hope it goes soon.
