No me as well.

And I am fine, before you start worrying.

TheBlonde · 27/07/2006 09:12

I'm ok during the day but have to take them off at night.

my fingers hurt at the moment due to the heat and swelling. am having to wear them round my neck half the time (on a necklace by the way,)

ComeOVeneer · 27/07/2006 09:15

Me three. I haven't worn mine for at least 3 weeks. I actually got a sore underneath them (told dh I have developed an allergy to gold so he'll need to buy me a new platinum one ).

i think i may paint a henna design on my ring finger so people wont call me 'miss'

ComeOv did your fingers goes all flaky?

OP posts:
psychomum5 · 27/07/2006 09:49

my fingers go flakey at least three times a year (under my rings that is)...probably due to swelling and heat, and certain hand creams getting trapped underneath too

I had to remove my wedding rings last week and now I look like a heavily pregnant unmarried mother ;)

(Not that is a bad thing, but it isn't accurate)

beef · 27/07/2006 10:06

no and I never take my rings off

CheesyFeet · 27/07/2006 10:31

I've had to take my rings off too. I have sciatica in my left leg and it has only just occurred to me that the reason why it seems worse atm is because of the heat. Doh.

ComeOVeneer · 27/07/2006 10:36

I rarely take my rings off (only to put them through the aotoclave at work to clean them- my wedding band is a celtic design full of holes), so they often stay damp underneath after washing my hands and wearing latex gloves. Combined with the heat etc it went red raw underneath and it is only just healing up. TBH I am slightly larger than I was when I got married and I think I need to have them enlarged slightly.
