Worried about dd2 - fallen on shoulder

Advice please ladies!! DD2 (6) fell off the settee (!) yesterday and fell awkwardly on her shoulder. She says she heard a crack but I wasn't in the room with her. Since then she has complained of it hurting and won't move her arm certain ways, is walking round holding her arm to her tummy. Have put it in a sling, do you think I should get it checked out or leave it a while. It's not swollen, red or bruised. Can feel myself going to panic before the end of the day .

Yes I would get it checked out,is sge in pain now ?

Yes she says it hurts a little (she's just sitting watching the TV). Can't decide if she's just jarred it - in which case it would hurt anyway wouldn't it? If she had done anything more serious wouldn't she be in a lot of pain?

I'm not sure how much pain she would be in,but I would air on the side of caution and have it checked just in case.

Thanks Heavenis. Sigh, don't want to subject her to visit to minor injuries if not necessary (last visit there traumatised her and she STILL harps on about it!!). Anyone else any ideas on whether she'd be in more pain if serious?
