DD - Stomach pain ????

DD complained of a sore chest at 2.30 this afternoon. She said that it was burning / stinging. I immediately thought that it was heartburn and gave her a settlers tums. This eased a bit of the pain but not much.

She has just returned from Brownies and complained that her tummy is still sore.

The exact place is under the last rib on the left hand side .... for about 6 inches - along the rib.

Any ideas please.

She's not crying but quite obviuosly uncomfortable.

From your description, it sounds a bit like the pain I get from trapped wind
Has she been to the toilet today? Constipated or not? If I get it I try and do lots of stretching or twisting and get the wind out. Yes a good old fart
It may be that but I think if it gets worse or hasn't gone by the morning I'd be inclined to visit the doctor.

Believe me - she has been to the loo - got that description in graphic detail!!

SHe had a big runaround at brownies - but I think you are right - if a good nights sleep hasn't sorted it .... I'll get her checked out.
