YUK YUK YUK

Just managed to dig out a chewed fly out of dd (8mnths) mouth. It was one of those big ones with white strips on them. She got to it before I could.

Should I do anything about it? She didn't swallow it just chewed it but I hate to think what was in its body.

Oh goodness, I've eaten loads of flies (cycling with mouth open). I really doubt it'll do her any harm.

It is gross, but I doubt there's anything you can do.

One of my second cousins ATE a dead Mexican brown-banded cockroach when she was 18 months old.

She's still here.

We never let her live it down.

Gosh, I think I going to be sick.

She actually gave be a great big grin as if she was very chuffed with herself.

My best mate grew up in the bahamas - when she was about 2 her mum heard her say 'mmmm - yummy!' (along with a crunch) - she'd eaten a cockroach!

Flies sound positively gourmet in comparison....

Well, dh just laughed his head off and said he will definitely being telling any prospect boyfriend about it, might put some of them off snogging her.

Should, I add it to the list of foods she's tried?
