Reflexology - pain in 'ovary' point

Hi all

Hoping someone can help. Today I had reflexology as a result of some health issues. We are TTC but that's not why I had reflexology.

Anyway, whilst pushing the various points on my foot (and some were excruciating) one point was my ovaries apparently.

Reflexologist didn't at this point know we're TTC and said 'oh that's your ovaries'. I asked what that meant and he just said 'they're in the process of doing something - are you on contraception or do you have issues?' to which I replied I wasn't, I didn't and we're TTC.

By now my mind is going into overdrive but I didn't say anything further so my question is, is this a bad thing that it was so painful? Does it mean there could be something wrong? I'm 5dpo so if the pain was ovulating pain I could've maybe understood it but its almost a week past.

Any suggestions?

(ps I know you can't actually tell me if there is something wrong with me, I just generally mean what does it mean that there is this pain. Is it quite normal? In past experience what has this meant to you? I guess I'm looking for some vague reassurance since we are TTC)

Thanks all x

Please try to stop worrying! Reflexology is very balancing, therefore, if there were tender spots the work that the therapist has done will assist in re-balancing your body. Speaking as one who knows just how painful some spots on my feet have been in the past!

Reflexology is very good and powerful therapy. I hope you got some kind of relaxation from it - as after a few sessions I was drifting off to sleep...even on the painful points.
