Black spot on Palm by thumb

Only just noticed this so must've appeared suddenly. Am panicking as it doesn't wash off. Of course, Google is not my friend as it keeps bringing up melanoma. Keep hoping it's where I've stabbed myself with one of DSs brown felt tips. I'll try and attach a photo. It's a black spot about 2mm wide, flat, on skin surface, doesn't hurt or anything.

Could it be a blood blister, where you've previously pinched your hand or something?

I've never noticed it before so must have appeared suddenly. Its a tiny black spot, lighter around the edges. Flat on the skin, nothing raised.

I've got a GP appointment but not for another 9 days

I would assume it is a blood blister, or a mark of some sort, maybe tiny burn? (or you have been cursed by a pirate)

That's what my Dad just said (he's not medical though).

How do I attach a photo?

Failed on the photo tonight. It looks just like a spot of brown/black pen on my skin (rather than a mole).
