Cough in 18mo

Could this be due to hay fever? She has a tickly but loose cough that is worse at night. Cough medicines have not worked, but when she was given medised last night (containing antihistamine) she didn't cough... Any ideas?

are there any other allergic people in your family? If so it could be hayfever. In this heat mine has been a nightmare and even dh who doesn't suffer from hayfever has been rasping.

If in doubt though go and take her to see the GP to rule out anything else

I get hayfever some times. Think will try the doctor if no better tonight. Thanks MrsBigD
