I have eczema on my eye lids and under my eyes, it has been very sore over Christmas and I have run out of my steroid cream, both eyes now have infections from me rubbing them and putting various other creams on them and now it looks like I have been punched (one eye looks like I have a black eye and is swollen), I will try and get the gp tomorrow if they can fit me in (Mondays are always busy) but is there anything I can put on them to sooth the skin around them? not looking forward to doing the school run looking like I have been in a boxing ring Sad.

My DD has this too - only thing I can suggest is Vaseline/epaderm/50-50 cream but I doubt that'll help the infection, more likely to sooth the irritation a bit. Sorry can't be more help.

Thank you, I have been using vaseline during the day and then smothering epaderm on at night, hopefully I can get some steroid cream tomorrow as that will clear it up within 2 days, my fault really for not sorting it before Christmas, I think all this wet weather is making it worse Sad.
