Horrendous period pains. Back story is always painful periods but now to the point where I can't move without crying.
Been referred for a scan and had bloods done but no news yet.

Have taken 2 lots of menefamic acid today, last one at about 9:15. I have also taken some paracetamol but not sure of the time, think it was about 7ish.

Drugs on offer in my med cabinet are Co-Codamol (500mg tabs), Dihydrocodeine (30mg) and Oxycodone Hydrochloride (10mg).

The last two are drugs given to dd1 after spinal surgery.

I NEED to be able to take something else because nothing is touching the pain atm and I can't sit still never mind sleep.

Co codamol has paracetamol in it so you can take it if you took the other paracetamol at 7 , the dihydrocodeine can be taken with the paracetamol ,but not the co codamol . Don't take the oxycodone ,it is a controlled drug and you really should return it to a pharmacy .

Thank you so much for your reply.

Didn't realise that about the oxycodone, and I shall take it into my pharmacy.

Thank's again

Try co-codamol next. They have 500mg paracetamol plus either 8, 15 or 30mg codiene in each tablet. You can take 2, max 8 in 24hrs. Do not take paracetamol as well!
You should not take your dd1s painkilllers, especially not the oxycodone, it is a powerful opiate drug.

I know i shouldn't be taking dd's painkillers, but i am desperate. I have had each of them myself in the past though so i know i am ok to take them iykwim. (not the controlled drug one)

Dd doesn't need them anymore btw.

I am seeing my gp on monday anyway, so I will get my own supply.

Thanks again for the replies.
