Anyone have a hysterectomy only for their ovaries to object most strongly?

I had an abdominal hysterectomy last year in February. All has generally been ok with the exception of my ovaries. Around once a month I get a lot of pain. Very similar to a period pain but occasionally, if I move after being sat for a while of lying in bed and I get up the pain leaves me doubled up in agony. I have a GP appointment next week but just wondered if anyone had the same?
