I just wanted to know if it's not just me. I know it's really hot and don't expect not to sweat but i seem to go bright red in the face and it drips off i feel like i'm going through the change or something. I am overweight but seen other people bigger than me and they aren't all sweaty faced.

Is it just me???

Just seen your thread Han4Dan, no not just you... unfortunately I'm the same. Hate it coz everyone else seems to look so cool and know I don't coz if I get chance to look in a mirror my face looks red AND sweaty. As for my neck etc could water a plant pot after just a short walk to school! (I'm overweight too but like you see others bigger or the same and they seem fine.)

Thank god I am not the only one.

Hi my problem is my back, sweat just runs down my back and I have big wet patches there which is really embarrassing. Have always been a sweaty person but this is getting ridiculous and very embarrassing. Got to the stage where I only want to wear black tops as easier to disguise which is a shame as have some lovely colourful tops.

zephyrcat · 25/07/2006 19:33

Hiya - another one here!! I sweat like mad and don't even have to be doing much in this heat! I get so embarrassed when we walk to the shops and everyone else looks nice and cool and I'm like a big wet beetroot!!!

Glad it's not just me either

mummyhill · 25/07/2006 19:51

Just sitting here typing and I can feel it running down forehead and back. I never used to be this large sweaty lump, although people keep trying to boost my confidence and tell me that I don't look nearly 15 stone. It seems to of gotten worse since I had the children though.

Han4Dan · 25/07/2006 21:22

You've made my day mumsnetters!!! Didn't think anyopne had replied to this thread.

I am acutally getting really annoyed with it because i look around and no one seems to be sweating as much as me. I get it mostly on my face i can feel it dripping and god i m ust look awful. i hate it.

Does anyone know of a cure or something herbal which is supposed to help this.

JackieNo · 25/07/2006 21:40

Botox injections, apparently.

Han4Dan · 25/07/2006 21:41

JackieNo · 25/07/2006 21:43

Han4Dan · 25/07/2006 21:44

SweatyBetty · 25/07/2006 21:45

I think it's worse today because it's so humid.
I am sweating buckets and it's horrible...........

Hi i'm really bad too valerian root is meant to help and there is this spray you buy in the deoderant section of shops, it has crystals in it and you have to add water to it but its really good!
