Clicking Shoulders 4month Old

Hiya,
I have a 4 month old son whos shoulders almost crunch when he moves his arms, or I pick him up. He doesnt seem in any pain, and I dont pick him up from his armpits, but further down round his ribs but they still seem to crunch. Is this normal?

Personally I'd say don't worry. My DS's shoulders and wrists did this for a while when he was little but as his joints got stronger it disappeared - if you're concerned though ring you HV and ask him/her to give your son a check up. If you have but are still concerned the expert opinion to go for would be an osteopath - you can usually find a list of registered ones in the yellow pages. If your DS ever got hot/swollen joints, or seemed in pain - then you should definitely see your GP.
