After suffering months of pain I had yet another scan last week and was told I have ovarian varices/pelvic congestion. There was talk of some coils being inserted into the bulging veins but it sounds horrid and I'm a little confused.
The sonographer made me an urgent appt to see a consultant next week to discuss things.
I have been experiencing severe bouts of pain and don't really know what to expect, had never heard of this condition before.
Does anybody else have this? What treatment did you have?
