No another one. Why does my dd KEEP getting ulcers?

She's got another huge one on the inside of her bottom lip. She frequently has at least one bad ulcer in her mouth.

Any ideas as to why this might be, or as to how best to deal with them, would be greatly appreciated.

i used to get loads usually caused by sweets, or acidic things - poor thing they really hurt

A doctor told me it was vitamin B deficiency. Can't remember which B though.

vitamin c deficiency. Have a vague memory that Bonjela helps with the discomfort but may be wrong about that, worth asking the chemist.

She hardly ever eats sweets.
I'll look into the vitamin ideas.

I wondered if it could be because of her teeth growing.

some people are just more prone to them. it sounds like she has apthous ulcers. no known cause or cure, hot salty rinses can help difflam rinse (numbs it its an analgesic) sometimes diet vit b 12 sometimes stress hth

I found that certain colours (smarties, not jelly babies, boiled sweets, not jelly tots) made them more frequent

As did almonds (marzipan)
