How lumpy/bony does your coccyx feel? Need a bit of reassurance please.

Can feel a big bony lump around where I assume my coccyx is. Is that normal?

On an unrelated note I'm waiting for a referral to the breast clinic and I admit my anxiety is through the roof at the minute. I can't seem to stop prodding a poking every part of my body for lumps and bumps Sad

When I prod I can feel the last few vertebrae, sticking out (but covered by flesh IYSWIM. I can actually feel the joins I think.

I'd say it's totally normal. My DH's coccyx is smaller than mine though (shorter if that makes sense).

HTH and good luck with the breast clinic Thanks

Mine feels lumpy too OP. I can understand how your mind is leaping all over the place but honestly, in my totally un-medical experience, I really do not think that a BC secondary would go to your coccyx.
I know it's so hard but don't get carried away. While I was in the throes of my own concerns I had pains in my armpit and neck that I managed to convince myself were lymph node issues. Seems they were a) hormonal b) due to lying awkwardly on pillow due to tossing and turning with stress

Normal to stick out. Any pain in it is usually associated with knocking it, or falling on it.

Thank you folks. I think I need to calm down a little bit. I will stop prodding and poking as I'm probably causing more discomfort from that than anything else x
