was sterilized 5 uears ago. now im 10 days late!

Hi.
I was sterilized 5 uears ago.
3 years ago I was diagnosed with MS.
Im 35 uears old. The only times I have ever been late is when ive been pregnant with mu 3 children.
Now im 10 days late.
Ive done 2 pregnancy tests wwhich have come back negative!
Im worried, becausebim not sure if im pregnant or if I should continue to take my meds...

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I would think that it is unlikely that you are pregnant.

I am a 28 day without fail type.

A couple of years ago ( was 36 at the time) AF just didn't show up.

I did PG tests but they came back negative.

When I was 2 weeks late I went to the GP, she was unconcerned and said it happened occasionally, but if the PG tests were negative by the time my period was over a week late, I was definitely not pregnant.

She told me to wait an extra 4 weeks (so I would be 6 weeks late) and if AF still hadn't come to go back in.

AF arrived 2 weeks later (so exactly 28 days late....like I'd skipped a whole cycle) and has never done it since.

Sorry meant to say I don't know if the MS meds you are on could have any effect on your cycle, as no experience of this, so possibly a GP might have a different take on it from in my case.

Can't say much about being late or the sterilization but I also have ms. Are the meds you are on betaferon,avonex or similar. I am on betaferon (have been for nearly 17 years) and have never been late or noticed any problem in that department relating to my betaferon use.

I did conceive twice while on betaferon and stopped it when pregnancy was confirmed, again no problems relating to my betaferon use. Due to the age of women on ms medicines, I think quite lot of women will conceive while on them , so don't worry if you are pregnant, not suggesting you are.

Personally, I don't think your lateness will be connected to your ms. See your gp just to put your mind at rest.

I would have thought it was unlikely that ur pregnant as ur sterilised and the tests r negative. It is normal for ppl with no issues and regular cycles just to randomly have a weird one or skip one all together obv if this becomes a regular thing u need it checking as sounds like it'd b a big change for u to suddenly b irregular every cycle.

Have u been under a lot of stress lately? Stress can make ur period late
