This morning I knocked a tabletop hob thing down onto my foot. It landed on it's corner right on my second toe and it weighs a ton!

Just wondering if it was broken would I be able to walk on it? I have been walking but it bloody hurts!!!

is it swollen? hot? bruised?
if in doubt get it checked out-you can't be too careful with your feet.

yes you would still be able to walk
the worst ones to break are the big toe and little toe (direction and balance)
If there is substantial bruising you have most likely cracked it
DS dropped a plate on mine a couple of years ago
Jaysus the pain I still walked but could not a shoe on...

ive broken my litle toe about 3 times!! and it hurts like hell, i hobbled but i could walk. theres nothing they can do im afraid, it just has to heal. i remember the sensation as it broke, a feeling of nausea in waves and a hot flush that started at my feet and went all the way up to my head, the toe itself didnt even hurt that much at first, i felt more sick than anything!! course it swelled up and hurt for ages.

sorry you're in pain. xx

It's not swollen which made me think it's not broken. It's just red with a little bump - it's right on the first jointed bit under my toenail if that makes sense?! It wasn't too bad walking around the house but since I've come in from walking to school it's agony!!

I broke a toe many years ago - so long ago that when I went to Casualty they strapped it to the next one. What I mean is, they actually treated it! I could have done it myself though.
