Keeping 8 week ds cool

Ds is getting really hot, particularly in his cot or bouncy chair. Last night I resorted to holding him for part of the night as he seems cooler when I have him in my arms than when I put him down, which makes no sense at all. I am really worried but perhaps I shouldn't be? He did record a temp of 38 but it's now 36.6 and I think the thermometer is unreliable. He's feeding okay but very sleepy.

What about a bath? or moving the cot to the cooler room in the house until the heat wave has passed?
