I have been ill with cold/flu symptoms for the past 3 days. slight temp which I have used paracetamol to regulate. Im 12 weeks pregnant at the moment so unable to take any other remedies. Today I noticed a mark on my lower back (side of my waist) it looks like a blueish purple bruise, slightly dappled (like when you get cold feet) no pin marks spots or blisters. It is painful to touch as in skin sensitivity not bruise like pain. I have not banged myself or anything at all. has anybody ever experienced anything like this? I cannot find anything online at all! iv been seen by a doctor who said he doesn't think it is shingles or a meningitis type rash..
