steroid injection - de quervains tendonitis

Anyone had steroid injection for this? if so did you have a splint afterwards and how long did you wear it for? how long did it takes for tendonitis to go after injection?

Had an injection for bursitis in my shoulder. It was lovely! Pain went away and I felt like a new woman.
