As far as im aware, it does happen, not sure why, but i think it does.

TeamSouthfields · 04/12/2013 21:03

why has it been reported???

normally babies do have them, if you are worried about him, do take him to the doctors..

blood flow Is different in each child, and I think it depends how big there willy is. try not to worry

2Tinsellytocare · 04/12/2013 21:04

I'm partly concerned as his testes haven't descended properly and I don't know if the two are linked. I'm not a troll!

You mean like before they wee? When DS was teeny and used to wee every ten mins I noticed it would look hard just before. Was a good warning sign.

Now he is older and he puts his hand down there during nappy changes or bath etc it sometimes looks hard.

From having nephews I understood this was normal. But not having them? I don't know.

OooohShiny · 04/12/2013 21:05

DS who is 15 months has had a few that I'e noticed recently. Not sure it would be something to worry about if he hadn't though Confused

Why have you reported the thread PeriodFeatures?

MyMushroomsInATimeSlip · 04/12/2013 21:05

Period features I assume you don't have a baby boy. I have had a conversation about the strange things boys willies do with most friends who are mums to boys! How would we know what's normal otherwise :-)

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 04/12/2013 21:06

It's normal to report threads like this - and ones about children pleasuring themselves etc. Surely the reason is obvious?

Moreisnnogedag · 04/12/2013 21:06

Reported? I'm not sure I understand.

I don't know if the lack of them is anything to be concerned about, but their existence shocked me!

2Tinsellytocare · 04/12/2013 21:06

Yes like that Onsera I just hoped that someone would come on to say their DS was like that too but I'm starting to think something might be wrong

OP posts:
extracrunchy · 04/12/2013 21:06

Why reported?!?

DS used to get them every now and then but can't remember more than 4 or 5 occasions. I wouldn't be too worried I don't think - but if you think testicles are undescended you should prob get that checked.

OP is a regular poster period do your homework and stop pearl clutching

2Tinsellytocare · 04/12/2013 21:07

I never said anything about children pleasuring themselves, he's a baby FFs

It's probably the choice of AIBU, rather than a health topic or even chat, that comes across as strange.

When does he have his next review with the doctor about his testes? Ask then, but I'm pretty sure it's unconnected. And, of course, you do not know what is happened inside his nappy. You are resumably not observing him 24/7

KnitActually · 04/12/2013 21:08

Before the thread is cancelled, I would say that your baby is 11 months, he is wearning a nappy most of the time, I would assume it is happening occasionally and you are just not seeing it :) HTH

OooohShiny · 04/12/2013 21:08

ATruth....surely if it were obvious we wouldn't all be asking?

2Tinsellytocare · 04/12/2013 21:09

I tried but she just said she didn't know whether the two things could be connected or even whether a lack of them could be normal. I feel pretty upset now

OP posts:
meditrina · 04/12/2013 21:10

Hemlet read the OP.

She not asking if it's normal to have them.

She's asking if it's normal not to, as she's not observed it.

2Tinsellytocare · 04/12/2013 21:10

I've posted in health before about things and got little to no response. Thanks knit

OP posts:
littlemisssarcastic · 04/12/2013 21:10

I'm confused as to how you are so sure your DS has never had one?

Perhaps you have just never noticed and there is no need to be worried.

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 04/12/2013 21:11

Wow. I was actually trying to help by explaining why it would have been reporting, but I might just slink off back to the conception threads and leave y'all to the mudslinging.
