bloob (and OP) please,please go back to your GP- if your DS needs this op, he needs to have it sooner rather than later. The longer it is left, the more issues it could cause, and it can mean increased chances of malignancies later, once he's reached puberty. A GP will be able to reassure you either way.

Hi. The reason I reported this is because it was in AIBU. The OP is asking people to share their views on a child sexual functioning.

This would have been acceptable in Health and Development. I am sure the OP has no sinister motives but it is important that details about children sexual functioning are shared appropriately and with sensitivity and that they are not using language which 'wierdos' would find arousing.

I have unwittingly responded to threads where unpleasantly intended individuals lurk! It is important to be vigilant!

Oh and I was fecking asking for views on sexual functioning I was clinging to the hope that my DS wasn't the odd one out and went in to/asked for no detail. Marianne I really appreciate it Thanks
