lump in breast- results tomorrow

I discovered a lump in my LH breast a month or so ago (I'm also pregnant) finally got it checked out a few weeks ago and doc found a few smaller ones on the RH side. She sent me for an ultrasound and the doc there said she wasn't concerned but decided to first do a needle aspiration on both sides then a tissue biopsy on the RH side as that one didn't feel quite so round? So now I have to go back tomorrow for the results and I'm so scared. I know she said she 'wasn't concerned' and thought they were benign- esp as hormones can create this lumpiness during pregnancy but it doesn't stop me worrying thinking what if she's wrong?

I had a lump with a previous pregnancy (and have had a few others) always benign- they said I have 'lumpy' breasts and they're probably fybro something or others? My mum has also had lumps examined and removed in the past and there's no history of breast cancer in the family.

BUT despite all of this I'm still worried!

anyone else gone through this? Its just that awful waiting for the appointment feeling.....god I wish they could just tell me over the phone its all ok but they said thats not their policy....

Waiting is awful, isn't it? Paw to hold here, and what I always do in these situations is pop over to the Tamoxifen thread, where the lovely ladies feed me cake, hold my hand and calm me down till results are in Smile

They have the added wonderfulness of experience in all things boob related, so you can see that even 'worst case scenarios' are manageable.

Will be thinking of you tomorrow x

Good luck. Feel sure it will be good news and there'll be wine for you tomorrow Smile

There's a great website breastcancercare.co.uk have a look on there, you can also phone a nurse on the site to get an independent, professional opinion & advice. Good luck Thanks

Thanks for the replies- I've got the all clear- it's benign so I can breathe a sigh of relief!

And have had a few sips of wine (since I'm pregnant) to celebrate! Smile

Phew! Great news!
I had BC and all the treatment a few years ago so I'm always so relieved for anyone who gets the all clear, especially you since you're pregnant.
Fantastic!
