Mucous in my poos for 2 weeks, plus other odd bowely things :(

Sorry to be graphic but something odd has been going on with my bowels. I first noticed 2 weeks ago when my faeces appeared to be white and part white, as if covered in a thick stringy mucous. This has carried on over the last two weeks. Up until 2 days ago I kept getting feeling that my back bottom was going to leak if I didn't run to the toilet quickly enough. Also, every time I have gone to the toilet to wee in the last few weeks I have had seen a few fluffy looking deposits in the toilet. When I have weed and wiped my bottom, there has been a brown mucous from my back passage & a few days ago I noticed old blood as well . I haven't had any tummy pains. Please can anyone tell me what is going on and reassure me that it isn't anything sinister. x

Don't know what's going on but in your shoes I would see my GP as soon as I could and discuss what's happening.

If I had stomach cramps, I'd assume it was to do with IBS but that main symptom is missing.

I would see your GP as soon as possible.it is probably nothing but any changes to your bowel movements for over a week need looked at.

Just been to GP who thinks it's what I've eaten (although can't think of anything out of the ordinary) but is sending me for blood tests & a colonoscopy. He didn't think I was wasting his time. Thank you for your advice. x
