I am only 42. It is in my hands, wrists, knees, ankles, feet (probably hips and elbows too). Caused by a few years of unmanaged/active rheumatoid arthritis when I was trying to get pregnant and being pregnant etc. I am really quite despondent about it. I knew that I had some degree of joint damage - just hadn't expected it to be as far ranging or still to be getting worse. Does anyone else suffer from this form of OA and how do you manage the joint deformities and the ongoing fusing?

The RA is well managed now but I keep having new joint problems - they all seem to the secondary OA.
